My holistic journey began when I was a child. My mother always turned to nature for answers. She is a great example of taking her family’s health into her hands. I rarely went to the doctor. My aunt is an herbalist and made everything from healing salves to flu medicine. Home remedies were quite normal to me. So it’s no wonder I ended up becoming an herbalist myself.
In 2001 I received my associates in Massage Therapy. My education was extensive and gave me a great understanding of anatomy, physiology, and energy medicine. I have been practicing massage for 10 years now. During that time my interest in health and nutrition grew. I attended American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon. In 2005 I received a certificate in Holistic Nutrition, in 2006 I received a certificate in Aromatherapy, and in February 2008 I received my Master Herbalist diploma. My original goal was to become an herbalist consultant. However, as I began making my own products using herbs and essential oils, I discovered that to be my passion. With the encouragement of family and friends, I decided to create an online store where others could enjoy my products.
